The Arts Club Showtune Choir

Registration is now open for the fall semester!

Step into the joy of singing, storytelling, and community with the Arts Club Showtune Choir, our community ensemble! Whether you’re a beginner or a more experienced vocalist, this choir offers a welcoming space to connect through the magic of musical theatre repertoire. We will focus on the experience of making music together while building vocal technique, ensemble skills, and theatrical expression in a supportive, low-pressure environment. There are no auditions, just a shared love for Broadway tunes and the thrill of live performance.

We believe music and theatre is for everyone! Join us in cultivating your inner creativity and expanding your musical theatre skills!

5. We welcome personal support workers and companions. Sharing this information ahead of time, while not required, may support the access needs of others.
6. Wheelchair-user friendly space
7. Program materials provided in accessible formats
8. Automatic captions through participants’ personal devices for Zoom classes.
9. Relaxed environment in class and chill-out zones in the building
10. Fragrance-free space (everyone will be encouraged to use fragrance-free products; if this is a barrier for you, we will collaborate on finding a way to meet everyone’s needs)
11. We currently cannot offer ASL services during classes

REFUND POLICY

We understand that plans can change! Our refund policy for classes is as follows:

• Full Refund: Available if requested before the first class.
• Partial Refund (50%): Available if requested within 6 days after the first class.
• No Refund: Requests made 7 or more days after the first class are not eligible for a refund.

Libby Donald (she/her)

Born and raised in Australia, Libby Donald found her way into music early—and never looked back. Her love for performing began in her teens when she discovered theatre, thank you drama class! That moment lit the path to where she is today.

Libby holds a Diploma of Music Performance from the Canberra Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Music Performance (Voice) from the Australian National University. She has additional training in vocal pedagogy, early childhood music education and piano studies. After completing university, she made the move to Vancouver, Canada, where she continues to perform and teach.

Whether it’s working with beginners or more experienced vocalists of any age, Libby is passionate about helping people find their voice. She believes music is for everyone—a universal language that brings us together—and she's especially excited about sharing her love for musical theatre repertoire in a warm, inclusive, and joy-filled space.

When she’s not in the studio or classroom, you’ll find her on stage or screen—performing in opera, musical theatre, or film. Musical theatre remains her first love, it’s the perfect mix of storytelling, song, and creativity.
