Rehearsal Halls + Studios

The new BMO Theatre Centre has four modern studios for the Arts Club Theatre Company and Bard on the Beach. Each Arts Club studio comes with self-serve tables and chairs, a powered speaker, microphone, and may have access to an upright piano. They are the perfect spaces to rent for your next audition, rehearsal, meeting, reception, or small performance. Studios rentals are set-up to be self-serve.

The Rehearsal Hall at Granville Island is a 75-person occupancy space located on the second level of Granville Island Stage that is only available for non-performance activities. This rehearsal hall contains a supply of tables and chairs, upright piano, powered speaker, and one walled mirror for your auditions, read-throughs, or rehearsal needs. Availability is based around show performance schedule and is a self-serve rental experience. Due to the building’s preserved 1979 architecture, the Rehearsal Hall is only accessible by a staircase.

The Rezansoff-McGill Studio (Studio A) is our largest, purpose-built rehearsal space. The studio has a max occupancy of 228 persons and has an approx. 2250 sqft floorplan. There is a high contrast tactile strip in the hallway on the way to Studio A.

The Young Studio (Studio B) is our second rehearsal space. It has a max occupancy of 60 persons and an approx. 1150 sqft floorplan. This studio has a sprung floor and mirrored wall for all your safe movement and dance needs.

Our studios are the perfect spaces to rent for your next audition, rehearsal, meeting, reception, or small performance. Studios rentals are set up to be self-serve. Rental comes with access to the Timmie Marr Lounge and kitchen area for your break-time needs. This studio space is wheelchair accessible and near individual/gender neutral accessible bathrooms. There is a visual alarm system for people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
