Theatre Lobbies, Atrium + Boardroom

Our theatre lobbies and adjacent spaces make the perfect venue for your upcoming event. Lobbies rentals include bar staff and catering is available upon request.

The iA Financial Group Atrium is our standout floor-to-ceiling windowed Atrium, which is the perfect setting for your function, gathering, party, dinner, interview setting, or more. This space comes with the rental of the Newmont Stage, but the Atrium can also be rented out on its own. A fully serviced bar with designated staff paired with the phenomenal flavours from our exclusive caterer, The Lazy Gourmet, will make for a night to remember. Soak in the abundance of natural light in this beautifully modern setting. This space is wheelchair accessible and near gender-neutral and accessible bathrooms. There is a visual alarm system for people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

The Hamilton Boardroom & Balcony is our beautifully open business and formal reception hub. With large windows facing north, east, and west, the balcony overlooks the Atrium. The room is flooded with natural light that produces an open and relaxed atmosphere. You can rent this space for your business meeting needs, a cocktail reception, a VIP section before or after your event in the Newmont Stage, and much more. The Hamilton Boardroom is equipped with a large HD TV with HDMI input, foldable tables (which can be stored at the side of the room), and an abundance of chairs. This space is wheelchair accessible, and you can access it by both stairs and elevator. This space is wheelchair accessible and near gender-neutral and accessible bathrooms.

The Granville Island Upper Lobby is available for rentals with or without the main stage. The Lobby can be used for any of your business meeting needs, a cocktail reception, and more. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the unbroken views of the water make you feel like you are sailing along False Creek. With full bar service to host up to 95 people, this space is perfect for enjoying a lovely evening above the water. Due to the building’s preserved 1979 architecture, the Upper Lobby is only accessible by a staircase.

The Stanley’s Bruce Milley Lounge is crafted from the original Stanley cinema’s renovated projection room. This intimate loft on the third level of the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage allows you to create a wonderful writer’s room atmosphere. Due to the building’s preserved original 1931 architecture, the Bruce Milley Lounge is only accessible by a staircase.
