Arts Club Drama Outreach Program

Serving our local community in creative ways is a priority for the Arts Club. The Arts Club Drama Outreach Program offers students from equity-deserving communities an opportunity to access drama education on their home turf. In these free programs, students explore theatre and theatre-making in an inclusive and collaborative environment:

Britannia Secondary School, Vancouver
Grades 8–12

This program uses the students’ own voices to create theatrical work that resonates with them while helping them develop basic technical skills.

Ray-Cam Cooperative Centre, Vancouver
Grades 1–6

This is an inner-city drama program exploring imagination, community building, teamwork, and creativity.

English Language Learner Welcome Centre, Surrey
Grades 8–12

The program offers theatre-based workshops to students who are newcomers to Canada. They focus on enhancing language and communication skills, self confidence, and collaboration.

Ethos Lab
A not-for-profit organization that serves teens ages 12–18, Ethos Lab aims to empower the next generation of leaders and inspire a legacy of Black leadership within STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Applied Art, and Math). The Arts Club offers theatre-based workshops that explore leadership, confidence building, and collaboration, both in person, online, and in virtual reality spaces.
